i am small town
All Is On and I got back into town last night from our trip to
Austin. We went to New Browns Town and went tubing with some college
friends of mine and had a good time cause that water was cool. We got
some other things done but all in all I am glad to be back in Alpine.
I really can’t handle the traffic of Austin. There are fucking retards
behind wheels everywhere. You know what fuck it. We should arm
everybody and legalize man slaughter. That’s what we do with
automobiles. They give all these idiots the right to be behind the
wheel of a 1 ton weapon. They all do as the please and take in no
concern for what they are doing. No one drives carefully or smart. I
know people feel that a drivers license is a right, but fuck that it is
a privilege. Once again I go back to Mass Transport.
There is no bad that can come of a Mass transport system in Central Texas.
Check it:
2-3 tracks laid out between Austin and San Antonio. 1 Track runs 4 non-stop 15-30 minute trip between the 2 cities. There would always be 2 trains going one way. The other 1 or 2 tracks have 4 trains running also or whatever works best and say one train stops at New Braunfels and Kyle and the other stops at San Marcos and Buda, or just stops at all of them. But I think it would be essential to have at least one train do a non stop. Now it would be up to the cities to have a mass transport system branching from the central station out to all the other stations. This is a win-win system.
Less cars on road = less deaths do to idiots. Less smog in air. Less fat people because they are now forced to walk a little bit each day. Less money to the gas pump (yeah I know).
Also both cities should make an efficient way to create shade on the majority of public sidewalks. That would help encourage people to walk more too.
Here’s a scenario: IMAGINE:
We want to go to Austin. Now due to Alpines remoteness we probably wouldn’t have a bullet train passing through here. But everybody can get a ride to Ft. Stockton where a bullet train station would be. ALL ABOARD Where we would ride for 3 hours into San Antonio’s central station of Coarse with quick 5 minutes stops in Ozona, Sonora, Johnson City, Kerrville and a few outer San Antonio train stations. Hop off of the train and have 10 minutes to make it over to the Austin non stop trip of 30 minutes and bam you are dropped off in to Central Austin in only 4.5 hours to do what you will and it would only cost you say maybe 50$ for a round trip because of course these trains would not be dependent on oil, but electricity. It could work and we all know it.
With this train running between Austin and San Antonio like this just think what that would do for businesses. Sure quite a few Auto Shops would go out of business but I think quite a few Auto Shops need to go out of business, the fucking shysters. People wanting to go to 6th street to party wouldn’t have to rely on a Designated Driver or trying to risk not getting DWI. How much safer would the Interstate be with this train operating.
