I didn’t even have to use my AK
November 4, 2008 | Filed Under quick thoughts
So far it has been a good morning. I stayed up a little late last night just reading, which I havn’t done in a while. I got good sleep. I woke up 30 minutes earlier than usual, got a good breakfast and rode my bike to work, which I havn’t done in quite a while. I also havn’t blogged in a while.
I don’t really have much to say about today other than it’s election day and once again my canidate of choice will not be picked because he would change up a lot of things. I’m gonna throw up a few quotes right now.
“Those who vote decide nothing, those who count the votes decide everything”
-Joseph Stalin
“If voting changed anything, it would be illegal.”
-Emma Goldman
Here’s a Thoreau quote I just ran across that I like
“All voting is a sort of gaming, like checkers, or backgammon, a playing with right and wrong; its obligation never exceeds that of expediency. Even voting for the right thing is doing nothing for it. A wise man will not leave the right to the mercy of chance, nor wish it to prevail through the power of the majority.”
I can’t believe anyone’s belief in voting still exists in this millinium.

I believe in voting, just not the voters.
I don’t believe in voting. Only power.
We believe in nothing, Lebowski!
