the water from the fountain flows like a river through the air

so much so that I can’t hold my glass to far away

for fear that the meandering will run to wide and

spill outside my glass

many blood sucking parasites (ie politics)

October 3, 2008 | Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

I came up with an analogy for politics last night that seems to grasp my opinion of government.  Have you ever read one of those books where you get to “choose” what the main character does at the end of the chapter.  Does he go through door A or door B?  You think you’re getting involved in the book and making choices, but when you look at it, it has been written and no matter what the ending has been written and you’re just along for the ride, you don’t get to steer.  That’s kinda how I view voting.  The decisions have been made, they just ask our opinion to pacify those of us who think we actually get our turn at steering.  I refuse to indulge in the fantasy that is politics.  There is no change coming by voting.  So long as the pen and dollar is given so much credit.

George Carlin -a fallen hero

You want to talk about fallen hero’s, well I got one for you. George Carlin. I’m pretty sure he never killed anyone in his life. Might not have rescued any burning babies from buildings. But a hero to me is someone who speaks the goddamn Shit, Piss, Fuck, Cunt, Cocksucking, Motherfucking, and Tits truth. I’ve always thought the best comedians are the best because they’re telling us the truth that hurts. It’s the truth that’s too much in your face that most times it would get you down but they have a way of putting that all the hurt comes out in laughter. Now, I know that wasn’t what he spoke of all the time, alot of times he spoke of normal day stuff that made you laugh like things you never see (example: you never see a man take a shit while running at full speed). But he was anti-authoritarian, which is how I define myself. And it’s not a choice for me either. It’s the only way. I have not, can not, and will not ever be told what to do without first agreeing with it for myself. You can’t be a fuckin’ robot your whole life, you can’t be a fuckin’ slave and all of us are slaves. We are not free. If we were free, don’t go to work tomorrow. Leave work right now. Yeah right. Cause it’s not a bull whip that will get you anymore it’s something else.

`Anti-Authoritarian’

“I’ve always been sort of anti-authoritarian and I really don’t like arbitrary rules and regulations that are essentially designed to get people in the habit of conforming,” Carlin said in a National Public Radio interview on Nov. 1, 2004.

Back to the point. One Carlin quote that jumped into my head right now is about how republicans (during the Regan era, but still holds true to today) want to keep the streets clean of street crimanals provided that street isn’t wall street. His idea on church: tax them, tax these mother fuckers, hell the land tax alone of the catholic church would wipe out the national debt. I like his take on the 10 commandments. He boiled them down to 2 and then added one himself.

“Thou shall not kill unless somebody believes in something that you don’t” and “Thou shall be honest and faithful” Moses could have put them in his pocket and read it off to the people and it wouldn’t have been so hypocritical to faith. But let’s add in one more commandment “Keep they religion to thyself”

I think this is the saddest I’ve been over the death of a celebrity. I know I really shouldn’t be. Death is death. It’s not the end of the story but the end of the chapter. But what a good goddamn chapter.

People he could do without: People with small teeth and large gums. Old guys named skip. Guys with a lot of pins on their hats. A pimp who drives a Toyota Corolla. A boy scout master who owns a dildo shop. A nun with a bull whip and a bottle of Gin.

He was also the first to say certain words in a certain order, here it is: “As soon as a chop my dick off, I’m gonna stick this red hot poker in my ass”. First one. No one else in the history of the world ever thought to put those words together in that order. He had a beautiful take on words.

I love words. I thank you for hearing my words.
I want to tell you something about words that I think is important.
They're my work, they're my play, they're my passion.
Words are all we have, really. We have thoughts but thoughts are fluid.
then we assign a word to a thought and we're stuck with that word for
that thought, so be careful with words. I like to think that the same
words that hurt can heal, it is a matter of how you pick them.

Fuck God, Worship the sun. As he put it, unlike the sun I can’t see gods.

I just noticed that he died at 5:55. News broke about it on the 23rd of June. Is this an Illuminati conspiracy?

I just learned that James Orlin Grabbe died on March 15th. He had a webpage that I really liked. With all kinds of links to paranormal, conspiracy, scientific, and plenty others. that’s all I know about him. It was a good page. Sad that I don’t get to read it anymore

i am small town

June 3, 2008 | Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment

All Is On and I got back into town last night from our trip to
Austin. We went to New Browns Town and went tubing with some college
friends of mine and had a good time cause that water was cool. We got
some other things done but all in all I am glad to be back in Alpine.
I really can’t handle the traffic of Austin. There are fucking retards
behind wheels everywhere. You know what fuck it. We should arm
everybody and legalize man slaughter. That’s what we do with
automobiles. They give all these idiots the right to be behind the
wheel of a 1 ton weapon. They all do as the please and take in no
concern for what they are doing. No one drives carefully or smart. I
know people feel that a drivers license is a right, but fuck that it is
a privilege. Once again I go back to Mass Transport.

http://inventorspot.com/files/images/japanese_bullet_train.img_assist_custom.jpgThere is no bad that can come of a Mass transport system in Central Texas.

Check it:
2-3 tracks laid out between Austin and San Antonio. 1 Track runs 4 non-stop 15-30 minute trip between the 2 cities. There would always be 2 trains going one way. The other 1 or 2 tracks have 4 trains running also or whatever works best and say one train stops at New Braunfels and Kyle and the other stops at San Marcos and Buda, or just stops at all of them. But I think it would be essential to have at least one train do a non stop. Now it would be up to the cities to have a mass transport system branching from the central station out to all the other stations. This is a win-win system.

Less cars on road = less deaths do to idiots. Less smog in air. Less fat people because they are now forced to walk a little bit each day. Less money to the gas pump (yeah I know).
Also both cities should make an efficient way to create shade on the majority of public sidewalks. That would help encourage people to walk more too.

Here’s a scenario: IMAGINE:

We want to go to Austin. Now due to Alpines remoteness we probably wouldn’t have a bullet train passing through here. But everybody can get a ride to Ft. Stockton where a bullet train station would be. ALL ABOARD Where we would ride for 3 hours into San Antonio’s central station of Coarse with quick 5 minutes stops in Ozona, Sonora, Johnson City, Kerrville and a few outer San Antonio train stations. Hop off of the train and have 10 minutes to make it over to the Austin non stop trip of 30 minutes and bam you are dropped off in to Central Austin in only 4.5 hours to do what you will and it would only cost you say maybe 50$ for a round trip because of course these trains would not be dependent on oil, but electricity. It could work and we all know it.The image “http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/31/Shinkansen_500_Kyoto_2005-03-19.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

With this train running between Austin and San Antonio like this just think what that would do for businesses. Sure quite a few Auto Shops would go out of business but I think quite a few Auto Shops need to go out of business, the fucking shysters. People wanting to go to 6th street to party wouldn’t have to rely on a Designated Driver or trying to risk not getting DWI. How much safer would the Interstate be with this train operating.

Well I guess we’re gonna go ahead and let the grass spider’s live in our domain. I think they can pull they’re own weight in the place. Yesterday I noticed one outside and he had his web set up in a location bugs could get into our house. Sweet. They can locate the prime spot for maximum insect flow. Double plus is that they also catch cock roaches. Here is a pic that I photoshopped for a little dramatic effect.

for sale

Finally all of our wheels had crapped out on us. The Schwinn I was riding got a flat that I didn’t feel like spending time on to fix and make it hill worthy. Allison’s Beamer went out on her on friday, I have no clue what happened with it. So we both decided to get new wheels on saturday. I bought nice road bike that I can get up and down hills easily. This is also the easiest way I can fight all the bullshit I see at the pumps. In reality there is absolutely no reason I should buy gas at these outrageous prices just to drive around Alpine. I have a nice bike now that I can get around on and I’ll soon fix up my mountain bike and buy a trailer for it. I won’t use cars unless it’s to get out of town. Well I’ll probably have a scooter also for around town after a while, but I want to ride the bike alot.

BICYCLE!
BICYCLE!
BICYCLE!
I want to ride my bicycle. I want to ride my bike.

So Allison bought a 95 honda civic for a good price. The car will serve well as her commute car because it get 35 mpg and were both going to save up for the right equipment we need. We’re doing good.

My volvo is now up for sale for $1000 and our 2 vintage his and hers Schwinn’s are up for sale for $250.00
It could all be yours.
