The entries you see here are mine, and mine alone. Unless otherwise noted, what I write or say or draw here are my own personal opinions.

Be advised that I am not Politically Correct. I do not subscribe to anyone’s ideas of what may or may not be suitable in terms of language or subject. It is my opinion that such ideas as “vulgarity”, “obscenity” and “blasphemy” are bullshit (see? You were warned, weren’t you?) and I refuse to pay attention to them. I grew up speaking a relatively broad version of American English filtered through family members consisting of several generational Americans of Scottish and Teutonic/Scandinavian descent tempered with Southern and Western idiom. Like most other “English” speakers who grow up in an “English”-speaking environment,, about 95% of the first 500 or 1000 words I learned were derived exclusively from the Northern European branch of the Indo-European language. It seems to be that we can trace PC language bullshit to the attempts to force Latin-derived word-forms as being “correct” in preference to Nordic ones, as a result of which it is “okay” to say “urine” but not “piss”; okay to say “feces” but not “shit”; and so on. You will find as you read this that I generally do not give a rodent’s posterior for what is “okay” and what is not.

Consider yourself warned.
