Still working on Featured
Re: Forte Theme (what I’m looking at as I write this)
Later - changed to The Box (another mag style skin) some things not as good, but it works and doesn’t dupe
I don’t think the author of this particular theme (or skin, or whatever you like to call it) is going to respond, but maybe I’m […]
More Featured Screwups - 1 Fixed
Besides multiply posting featured category, and duplicating the posts in the main body, it also fails to put a “Read More” button on featured. WTF?
EDIT: The multiple posting turned out to be an option of how many “sticky” posts to show.
Now, if I can just find the duplicate flag (if there is one)
Cold, then Hot
It was gorgeous for a day.
Then it got cold, for a day.
Then it got hot.
Then it got gorgeous again.
Maybe Texas kicking Stanford’s ass in the NCAA basketball tournament had something to do with it. I’m pretty much expecting Texas to get their heads handed to them by Memphis… but you never know - it’s a […]
Hear’s The Thing
Now Here This.
Yes. No. Maybe. Maybe Not.
True. False. Meaningless. Imaginary.
More. Less. Same. Other.
The most worthless word in English - or any other language that has it or its equivalens - would seem to be “is”. So bad seems “is” that Blowjob Bill Clinton went so far as to argue - with a perfectly strait […]
Gorgeous
The weather, that is. It’s, oh, I guess high 80’s, clear, a little breeze… perfect.
Why did I write this? Only one reason - I’m playing with the blog’s theme, and it appears to have a setting where it shows the latest of each (listed) category on the front page… I don’t have anything under weather […]
“Us” and “Them”
WTF is wrong with us? Why do we insist on jumping immediately into the “us versus them” posture anytime we’re confronted with a “problem” of any sort?
I think - other than survival responses - most of that shit is propagrandized into us intentionally by those with the resources to do so: school, radio, tv, movies, […]
Electronic Voting: Baaaaad Idea
Electronic Voting - as practiced in my home - the Texas Big Bend country - is not just a bad idea, it’s a BAAAAAD IDEA.
I’m not even going into the fact that the two big dog companies in the voting machine biz were founded by brothers and are both significant contributors to election campaigns… and […]
How’s Your Pocket?
In the last 28 years, 20 of them under the “leadership” of Reagan-Bush and Bush Jr, the losses of the Public Treasury have exceeded by 1,000 per cent the total losses of the previous Two Hundred Years.
The money did not disappear, it went into someones’ pockets… were any of those pockets YOURS?
I thought not.
Sense and Non-Sense
What we think we know. What we think, we know. We know what we think. We know what, we think.
Dichotomy. Dualism. Falling into the trap of yes/no, true/false, us/them and all of the other manifestations.
Robert Anton Wilson had the sense to add maybe. Robert Anton Wilson had the sense to add, maybe. Maybe. Yes/No/Maybe.
There’s more. […]

It's Leo. Go back to the top and read the page titled "WhoDat?"... Maybe I can do an excerpt here someday. Maybe soon. Probably some time after I find out how to excerpt anything... I'm pretty sure it isn't too hard.
What is needed here is something like the stuff right above it which checks for existence of something
and if it exists shows it, otherwise puts in general blather.
